According to TwoCount.com, the WWE hall of famer Stone Cold Steve Austin will be hosting the March 15, 2010 edtion of RAW. The Rattlesnake will likely enter in the feud with Mr. McMahon and Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Look for a stunner delivered to the boss before the night is over
Well Eugene made it a month in the WWE on his current run… but not by much. On July 14th I wrote the article below.
But now the WWE released the infamous “We wish him the best in his future endeavors” statement. Eugene had one TV appearance against The Miz where he lost a contract on a pole match. Eugene was dressed in a mask so he wasn’t even in as his character.
I also wish Eugene the best in his future endeavors.
The next guest GM will be Jeremy Piven. Piven is one of the lead characters on the TV show Entourage and has appeared in a laundry list of movies including: Old School (one of my personal favorites), Smokin Ace, Cars, and the upcoming movie “The Goods”. Piven stated that his ties to the WWE come from being a friend of HHH. He said that HHH is a workout buddy of his.
Former WWE Superstar has signed with the competition. Elijah Burke was released by the WWE in October 2008. He had a huge following of fans who watched the ECW brand. The release was a shocker to most WWE fans when it occurred. TNA has hinted that Elijah Burke will take on a new name. Hopefully for all TNA fans (and wrestling fans) the management doesn’t screw up his character. Elijah is one of the best young stars in the business today.
WWE has released RAW superstar Brian Kendrick. Kendrick was currently going by the name “The Brian Kendrick”. Kendrick started with the WWE in 2003 but only stayed a year. In 2005 he returned to the WWE to form a successful tag-team with Paul London. His single career never really took off in the WWE after the tag run. His last match in the WWE was this past Monday where he lost to Kofi Kingston in under 10 seconds.
The WWE announced yesterday that Nick Dinsmore has been signed to a contract. Nick DInsmore is the artist formerly known as Eugene. Dinsmore played a simple minded character for a couple of years before being released in 2007. Dinsmore will be used in more of a developmental role. It is unlikely he will return on a full time basis. He will likely act as a road agent for the ECW developmental brand. Don’t be surprised if he is seen in comedy roles here and there, but don’t look for him to be entering any programs on Raw or SmackDown!.
Former WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar made himself look a tad foolish after his fight with Frank Mir on saturday night. He had several outrageous comments after flipping the crowd a dual middle finger salute.
It looks like now that Lesnar was forced to come to his senses. UFC’s Dana White stated his shock by Lesnar’s attitude and then Lesnar officially apoligized.
Thank to http://www.inquisitr.com/29091/full-text-of-brock-lesnar-apology-with-video/ for the transcript of the apology. I didn’t want to have to type that whole thing out.
For all the Mr. Kennedy fans out there. Mr Ken Kennedy announced himself today as “The artist formerly known as Kennedy”. During an autograph session in Puerto Rico he informed fans that he will no longer go by the name Mr. Kennedy. He will go by the name Mr. Anderson. I think Ken Anderson should concentrate on his ring skills and not worry too much about name changes and making internet videos. As I have said several times in the past, if he could polish his skills he could be a huge draw. It was his lack of progress that got him booted from the WWE, plus his glass body.
Edge & Chris Jericho win Triple Threat Tag Team Match (New Unified Tag Team Champions) Rey Mysterio def. Chris Jericho (New Intercontinental Champion) WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Triple H (Three Stages of Hell Match) Michelle McCool def. Melina (New Women’s Champion) Jeff Hardy def. World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk (By Disqualification; Punk retains) John Cena def. The Miz
The WWE is fighting through hard times by making sure the fans are happy. Tonights RAW is commercial free for everyone sitting on their butts at home. The WWE took the fandemonium to another level by making the event free for everyone in attendance with a ticket stub. Donald Trump came to address the crowd and made the block-buster announcement that everyone in the crowd would get a full refund. According to his speech, this will cost the the WWE $250,000. To make fans happy they are also having a pay-per-view main event match. HHH and Randy Orton will fight in a last man standing match. The WWE is bringing a PPV atmosphere to the weekly show. EDIT – The match ended with a double count-out. HHH could not stand after delivering the pedigree. What a garbage finish for an otherwise stellar match! |
