According to WrestlingInc.com Umaga was released by the WWE because of a second violation of the WWE substance policy. The WWE usually has a 3 strike policy with the violations of the wellness policy. The reason why he was released was he refused rehab. This is the second time a WWE Superstar was released because of refusal to seek rehab. Jeff Hardy had the same fate year ago before his current run with the WWE. It is hard to blame the WWE for releasing people who are unwilling to help themselves. The WWE cannot force people into rehab. Umaga (Eddie Fatu) is part of a large wrestling family who will hopefully help him get straight. Comments |
